The role is for a Sr. Software Engineer to work on the Serotonin Platform, which connects builders and founders with essential resources in the web3 ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in software development and broad experience in design, product, and data.
Responsibilities include using a variety of technologies from web2 and web3, collaborating with engineers to choose the best tools, defining new feature sets, growing the engineering team, staying updated on industry trends, and improving the development process.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, particularly in early-stage web product development, is required.
Candidates should value strong opinions, ownership, and thrive in a high-velocity environment.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to make independent progress is essential.
Experience as an early engineering hire at a startup (fewer than 10 engineers) is necessary.
Deep expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript is required, with experience in shipping production applications using frameworks like React or Node.js.
Familiarity with Solidity, smart contracts, and web3 infrastructure is a plus but not essential.
