Remote AI Engineer - Ruby on Rails

Description:

• Design and build AI/LLM-assisted product features in Ruby on Rails.
• Integrate LLM APIs into existing systems and improve reliability, accuracy, and maintainability.
• Own features from technical design to production, including writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Debug production issues and enhance system behavior over time.

Requirements:

• Practical experience with AI/LLM technologies and strong Ruby on Rails skills, ideally at a senior level.
• Strong backend skills including databases, API design, performance, and security.
• Ability to assess when to use AI versus simpler engineering solutions.
• Capability to break down ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions.
• Nice to have: CI/CD, AWS experience, and familiarity with text-processing or multilingual products.
