Description:

The NYC Department of Finance (DOF) administers tax revenue laws and provides exceptional customer service.
The Finance Information Technology (FIT) Division designs and supports DOF’s computer systems and tax-related payment programs.
Seeking an experienced Appian Software Developer to build internal and public-facing applications using the Appian Platform.
Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing applications, and ensuring successful delivery on low-code platforms.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and four years of relevant experience, or equivalent education/experience.
Proficiency in developing enterprise-grade applications using Appian, including knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and application performance optimization.

Potential for remote work up to 2 days per week under the Remote Work Pilot Program.
