Description:
The Associate Staff Engineer will be responsible for database development tasks including writing SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and indexes.
They will need to build data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Bricks.
The role involves creating Notebooks in Azure Synapse for data ingestion, analysis, and pipeline building.
The candidate must have expertise in data integration (ETL) best practices and techniques.
Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts such as Star/Snowflake schema and solution designing is required.
Understanding of relational structures and dimensional data modeling is essential.
Familiarity with ETL tools, especially SSIS, is preferred for designing ETL unit test cases and debugging ETL mappings.
Exposure to Data Governance concepts and tools like Data Quality tools and Master Data Management Tools is beneficial.
The candidate should be able to create documentation for various purposes and have experience working with Agile (Scrum) development practices.
Analytical ability and strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this role.
Requirements:
