Remote Associate Staff Engineer

Description:

• The Associate Staff Engineer will be responsible for database development tasks including writing SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and indexes.
• They will need to build data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Bricks.
• The role involves creating Notebooks in Azure Synapse for data ingestion, analysis, and pipeline building.
• The candidate must have expertise in data integration (ETL) best practices and techniques.
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts such as Star/Snowflake schema and solution designing is required.
• Understanding of relational structures and dimensional data modeling is essential.
• Familiarity with ETL tools, especially SSIS, is preferred for designing ETL unit test cases and debugging ETL mappings.
• Exposure to Data Governance concepts and tools like Data Quality tools and Master Data Management Tools is beneficial.
• The candidate should be able to create documentation for various purposes and have experience working with Agile (Scrum) development practices.
• Analytical ability and strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for this role.

Requirements:
