Description:
- Join Wheely's Marketplace team as a Mid/Senior Backend Engineer to optimize pricing and matching algorithms for premium transportation.
- Focus on writing clean, maintainable code in a Go environment while migrating from a Ruby monolith.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in building and maintaining scalable backend services (5+ years for senior roles).
- Proficiency in Go preferred; strong knowledge in Python, C++, or Ruby accepted.
- In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Upper-Intermediate (B2) English proficiency for technical discussions.
