Remote Backend Engineer (Remote: Vietnam)

Description:

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs (C#/.NET) for a real-time facility navigation and asset-tracking platform.
• Implement service layers for asset tracking, facility navigation, and event detection features.
• Integrate with third-party positioning/telemetry providers and their APIs.
• Collaborate with the frontend team to define and evolve API contracts.
• Write automated tests, participate in code reviews, and maintain codebase quality.
• Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of backend services in production.

Requirements:

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET for backend service development.
• Experience with third-party API integration and webhooks.
• Comfortable with real-time data processing requirements.
• Experience with a major cloud platform (Azure preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a small, fast-moving team.
