Description:

Lead the Software Tools team, providing direction and support for daily decisions.
Build and review the roadmap with Product, balancing impact, capacity, and technical needs.
Participate in prioritization, discovery, and solution definition.
Engage directly in coding, reviews, and investigations as needed.
Guide architectural decisions and ensure sustainable system evolution.
Improve engineering processes for frequent, secure, and quality deliveries.
Monitor technical indicators, risks, incidents, and technical debts.
Develop team autonomy through mentoring, feedback, and context sharing.
Remove obstacles and facilitate collaboration with Product, Design, and other teams.
Maintain alignment and visibility on decisions, progress, risks, and results.

Requirements:

Solid experience in software development and technical leadership.
Ability to code directly when necessary.
Experience with architecture, testing, code review, and production systems.
Background in defining technical standards and improving software quality.
Strong decision-making skills considering impact, risks, and product needs.
Bachelor's degree in Technology, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
Close leadership style, guiding the team while remaining hands-on.
Product Engineer mindset, taking responsibility for problems and results.
Clear communication and collaboration with Engineering, Product, Design, and other areas.
Ability to mentor and develop team members through feedback and context sharing.
Autonomy, pragmatism, and good judgment to balance quality and speed.
