Description:

  • Support the development of a knowledge and tools repository for freight corridor electrification deployments.
  • Assist in creating a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model for medium- and heavy-duty vehicles.
  • Translate analytical results into visualizations and user-friendly outputs for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with CALSTART teams to prepare tools for global adaptation.
  • Engage in research related to zero-emission vehicles and enabling policies.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Master's degree in relevant fields (engineering, energy, transportation, etc.).
  • Experience in developing quantitative models, especially TCO and policy-impact models.
  • Familiarity with web-based tools, databases, and digital knowledge platforms.
  • Knowledge of zero-emission vehicles, transportation electrification, and related policies.
  • Ability to translate analytical work into intuitive tools or visualizations.
  • Interest in supporting the transition to zero-emission transportation in an international context.
  • Weekly minimum availability of 15-20 hours.
