Description:

Join Whatnot, the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe, as a Data Engineer on the Notifications Platform.
Build foundational data systems that support product development, machine learning, and operational decision-making.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in data or software engineering.
Strong experience in building production-grade data pipelines with SLAs, monitoring, and alerting.
Deep expertise in SQL and production-grade coding in Python or SQL.
Hands-on experience with modern data tools (e.g., Kafka, dbt, Airflow).
Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
Proven track record with large-scale datasets and designing data models for analytics and ML.
Strong systems thinking and exceptional communication skills.
