Description:

Paires is seeking its first Data Engineer to manage a comprehensive database for agents and outreach.
The role involves designing, scaling, and maintaining a knowledge graph that connects companies, investors, and funding rounds, serving as the core memory for the platform.

Requirements:

Experience managing a database related to companies, people, or deals, ideally in a live product environment.
Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience in data ingestion, transformation, deduplication, and enrichment.
Ability to identify and rectify bad data before it impacts the business.
Strong understanding of schema design and the ability to model entities and relationships at scale.
Familiarity with AI tooling and a hands-on approach to outcomes.
Bonus: Experience with pgvector, knowledge graphs, and large-scale data ingestion.
