Remote Data Engineer

Description:

• Reality Defender is a cybersecurity company focused on detecting deepfakes and AI-generated media.
• The Data Engineer will build and scale the infrastructure for the data platform, handling multi-terabyte and streaming datasets.

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS for containerized workloads.
• Proficiency in Spark and Ray for large-scale data processing.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; Golang is a plus.
• Proven track record in building large-scale data processing pipelines.
• Experience with audio/video data processing is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT and data validation patterns.
• Experience in job orchestration systems and MLOps workflows is a bonus.
