Remote Data Scientist / AI Research Engineer

Description:

• Partner with clinical team to analyze data, validate AI models, and assist in writing scientific publications.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for behavioral health datasets; implement AI/ML models to identify clinical trends.
• Translate data methodologies and statistical findings into clear, publication-ready text for scientific papers.
• Create compelling visualizations and narratives from raw data for medical professionals and the public.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python or R; experience with data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn) and AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience cleaning and analyzing messy datasets; healthcare or behavioral data experience is a plus.
• Ability to clearly explain complex technical and statistical concepts in writing.
• Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models, particularly in NLP, LLMs, or predictive modeling.
