Remote DevOps Engineer

Description:

• Ripjar develops software and data products to combat financial crime, including money laundering and terrorist financing.
• The role is remote-first, open to UK-wide candidates, with an office in Cheltenham for those nearby.

Requirements:

• Strong experience administering and securing Linux hosts on virtual and physical infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
• Experience managing public cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in administering containerized applications (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with IP networking in a corporate environment.
• Automation skills using languages/tools like Bash, Python, JavaScript, and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of security testing and monitoring tools (e.g., SAST, SIEM).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools for application and infrastructure metrics (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog).
