You will lead the full engineering team, which includes iOS, Android, and backend developers, consisting of 8 people, dedicated to the Dailymotion mobile apps.
Your mission, in collaboration with the Product Director, is to transform the product vision into a world-class product, with the freedom to shape the development and growth processes.
You will work closely with QA Engineers and Product Designers to ensure a smooth and high-quality user experience.
Key responsibilities include owning the delivery of the product vision, making important technical decisions while balancing innovation and technical debt, and leading and supporting your team to encourage ownership and collaboration.
You will establish clear performance objectives and provide guidance to ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
Continuous improvement of team workflows, tools, and building methods will be part of your role.
You will provide technical direction that influences the entire company.
Requirements:
A strong track record in building and scaling high-quality consumer applications is required.
Proven experience in leading iOS and Android teams is essential.
Expertise in streaming video, media frameworks, and performance optimization is necessary.
A sharp eye for user experience (UX) and a strong passion for crafting great user experiences are required.
