Plain is a B2B customer support platform focused on redefining customer relationships through AI and unified interactions.
The Founding Data Engineer will own and evolve the data foundations, including the data warehouse and core models, to support various teams in decision-making and enhancing customer experiences.

Requirements:

Experience building modern analytics stacks end-to-end, including data warehouse, transformations, and governance.
Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, and dbt/Dataform.
Familiarity with user-facing analytics or AI retrieval layers using real-time data platforms (e.g., Tinybird, ClickHouse).
Strong focus on data quality, trust, and reusability.
Ability to communicate effectively and build alignment without heavy processes.
