Aktos, a seed-stage Vertical SaaS Fintech startup, is seeking a Founding Full Stack Engineer (70/30 Backend leaning) to help build the Operating System for the $18B Credit Collections industry.
The role involves creating a modern software platform tailored to the unique workflows of Credit Collectors, making the credit recovery process more positive for all parties involved.
You will work directly with the CEO, CTO, and a team of engineers to develop full stack features and enhancements to the product.
Responsibilities include taking ownership of work, refining SDLC & CI/CD pipelines, and maintaining AWS infrastructure.
Requirements:
5+ years of Software Development Experience.
Professional experience with Python (5+ years required) and Django (5+ years required).
Proficiency in JavaScript with React/Redux experience preferred.
Strong understanding and usage of a RDBMS, with Postgres preferred.
Hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform experience preferred.
Ability to work full-stack, solid engineering fundamentals, and a passion for high-quality code.
Product intuition, user empathy, and the ability to make sound UX decisions.
Strong work ethic and an end-to-end ownership mentality.
