McFadyen Digital is seeking an innovative Full Stack Developer with a passion for technology and problem-solving.
The position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility in work location.
The developer will work with technologies such as NodeJS, Java API, GIT, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Responsibilities include solving critical issues related to both front-end and back-end development, translating web designs into digital experiences, and converting business requirements into efficient code.
The role requires active involvement in coding and the ability to transfer knowledge to other programmers.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with distributed teams are essential.
The developer will collaborate with local and remote team members and must be a self-starter eager to learn new tools and frameworks.
Experience with agile development methodologies and tools like Jira, Git, and AWS is required.
The developer will write server-side code, manage databases, build APIs, and contribute to software architecture, testing, and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience as a Full-Stack developer and be proficient in JavaScript, Node.js, PHP, AWS, and DevOps/CI/CD tools.
A strong understanding of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, and Node is required.
Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks is necessary.
Back-end technology experience with various server-side languages, databases (like SQL), and APIs is essential.
Candidates should have experience with JavaScript frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, Node) and a strong background in HTML5, CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, and MongoDB.
Knowledge of GraphQL, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and external APIs is preferred.
Experience in developing extended functionality for CMS systems and a good understanding of SEO best practices are required.
Strong problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and understanding of UI and cross-browser compatibility are necessary.
Experience with e-commerce development (Magento, Shopify, Oracle Commerce Cloud) is a plus.
Familiarity with Unix systems, command line tools, Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP is beneficial.
Candidates should have experience building RESTful APIs and a background in agile methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
