The Fullstack Developer (AI & Digital Health) will significantly drive the digital transformation of Swiss Medical Network's clinics.
The role involves designing and developing innovative AI-supported software solutions that enhance the patient journey and relieve medical staff.
The developer will act as a technical bridge between medical requirements and cutting-edge technology, ensuring that digital health applications are secure, scalable, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable fullstack web applications for clinical and administrative use.
The developer will integrate machine learning models and deterministic AI services into existing and new applications to support diagnostic and administrative processes.
The role requires connecting applications to clinical primary systems using modern interoperability standards and ensuring smooth data exchange.
The developer must ensure the highest security standards and data protection compliance when processing sensitive patient data.
Responsibilities also include building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud infrastructure for AI solutions.
The developer will quickly develop proof-of-concepts to evaluate the potential of new AI technologies for clinical practice.
Close collaboration with data scientists, doctors, and nursing staff is essential to create user-centered solutions.
Requirements:
A university degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification with a strong focus on modern web technologies is required.
The candidate must have solid experience in modern backend (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java) and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js), preferably on the Google Cloud Platform.
Practical experience in integrating AI/ML components into productive software environments is essential.
Experience with healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM) is advantageous, but a willingness to learn is acceptable.
A self-directed, agile (Scrum/Kanban), and solution-oriented working style is necessary, along with a "Can-Do" mentality.
The candidate should possess an innovative spirit combined with a quality-conscious approach and the ability to explain technical matters to non-technical stakeholders.
Native German and fluent communication in French, along with good English skills, are required for collaboration in regional teams.
Knowledge of container technologies, cloud platforms, and version control is expected.
