Description:

• Join the Podcast Mission to develop strategies and build products for creators and listeners.
• Work as an Engineer II in the Wheelhouse team to enhance tools for content management and sharing.
• Focus on building scalable backend services and APIs, with opportunities to contribute to frontend development.

Requirements:

• Experience with production backend systems using Java, Ruby on Rails, or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with React and TypeScript, or willingness to learn.
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts and a strong focus on user experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Growth mindset and interest in agile software development.
• Familiarity with podcast ecosystems and creator tooling is a plus.
