Remote Junior Java Engineer

Description:

• Seeking a Senior Java Video Streaming Engineer to architect, implement, and optimize streaming pipelines in Wowza Streaming Engine.
• Responsibilities include designing core features, implementing transcoder workflows, debugging issues, and serving as a subject matter expert.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of Java development experience in performance-critical systems.
• Deep understanding of Java concurrency, JVM internals, and optimization techniques.
• 5+ years of experience in transcoding and packaging workflows, with knowledge of video codecs and streaming protocols.
• Nice to have: C/C++ development experience, contributions to open-source projects, and familiarity with CI/CD frameworks.
