Remote Junior Security Engineer

Description:

• Join 1Password as a Junior Security Engineer in the Application Security team, focusing on building and maintaining security tooling.
• Contribute to the Secure Software Development Lifecycle and related security activities, including design review, threat modeling, and automated security tooling.

Requirements:

• 0-2+ years of experience in software development with a passion for security engineering.
• Strong experience with agentic AI capabilities to enhance security workflows and internal tool development.
• Foundational understanding of software development principles and ability to read/write code.
• Team player with effective communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
• Bonus: Experience with Rust/Golang, security code reviews, and web application security topics (OWASP Top 10).

Benefits:
