The Lead Application Modernization Engineer will be a hands-on technical leader passionate about application development, modernizing legacy software, cloud-native architecture, and DevOps technology.
Responsibilities include providing technical delivery leadership, ensuring technical excellence, uplifting engineers, and serving as a technical point of contact for clients.
The role involves organizing work for team members, mentoring junior team members, and participating in business development.
Candidates should have significant experience with full stack development, multiple programming languages, and cloud-hosted applications.
The position requires expertise in navigating enterprise environments, distributed systems, and DevOps practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without the need for sponsorship.
Availability for travel is required, typically ranging from 10-50%, depending on client needs.
Extensive experience in full stack development of new applications and modernization of legacy applications is necessary.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages, both functional and object-oriented, as well as databases is required.
Candidates should have experience with frontend web applications, backend API services, and cloud-native architecture.
Familiarity with automation, source control management systems, and best practices like Agile, TDD, BDD, and DDD is essential.

The annual base salary ranges from $140,000 to $180,000, depending on experience.
