The Lead Java Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications while managing all phases of the software development lifecycle.
This includes analyzing requirements, creating technical solutions, implementing features, testing, and optimizing performance.
The role involves acting as a technical leader and mentor, ensuring architectural consistency and guiding the development team toward best practices.
The Lead Java Developer collaborates closely with Product Owners and Managers to align technology decisions with business objectives and contributes to strategic initiatives.
The position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in an agile environment that fosters innovation, scalability, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for strategic products, analyzing requirements, preparing solution designs, and implementing features.
The developer will automate infrastructure and application deployments, monitor and optimize system performance, contribute to system testing, and support fault analyses.
They will develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and functionality, work in a SCRUM team, and implement customer requirements into functional applications.
The role also involves mentoring, listening to user requests, consulting with customers, and participating in internal evaluation processes.

Requirements:

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Information Technologies.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in ICT Systems Engineering is required.
Expertise in programming with Java and strong knowledge of Spring Boot and Hibernate is essential.
Advanced knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines is necessary.
Candidates should have advanced experience with database development, specifically OracleDB and PostgreSQL.
Proficiency in working with Linux-based operating systems is required.
Strong general IT skills are essential, along with excellent communication, analytical thinking, team cooperation, mentoring, and product management abilities.
Candidates must speak English at an upper-intermediate level (B2).
Experience from a senior application development position is required.
A passion for AI and a commitment to continuous learning, with an eagerness to explore innovative ways to implement AI, is essential.
