Remote Machine Learning Engineer Intern

Description:

• Work on Wayfinding projects that impact the business and contribute to Transcarent’s mission of better health and care.
• Gain exposure to real engineering team processes, from sprint planning to shipping code.
• Collaborate with experienced engineers from various backgrounds (web development, mobile, API, Salesforce, etc.).
• Receive guidance from a formal mentor throughout the internship.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and concepts like tool-use and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Experience with LangChain and LangGraph, including building workflows and orchestration patterns.
• Knowledge of ML evaluation methods (benchmarking, automated testing, model performance analysis).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively across teams.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
