Remote Mobile App Developer (React Native)

Description:

• Own the React Native app for iOS and Android, shipping new features and maintaining a reliable production experience.
• Collaborate with the mobile developer and engineering team on onboarding, profile management, orders, and in-app chat.
• Build and maintain backend APIs in Python + Django (DRF) focusing on performance and scalability for 1,000,000+ monthly visitors.

Requirements:

• Proven experience shipping and maintaining production React Native apps on iOS and Android.
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs with Python + Django (DRF).
• Strong understanding of designing for scale, latency, and reliability.
• Familiarity with Apple/Google release processes and deployment pipelines.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience using Notion or similar organizational tools.
• Portfolio demonstrating shipped mobile apps.
• Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools is a plus (not mandatory).
