Remote Platform Engineer (m/w/d)

Description:

• Join the Platform Engineering initiative to automate, scale, and maintain the Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
• Work on cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform and OpenTofu, and support cloud architecture management.
• Participate in governance structure implementation and on-call duties to ensure core services stability and performance.
• Contribute to the observability stack and assist with cloud migration projects.

Requirements:

• Strong practical knowledge in Public Cloud (preferably Azure), Terraform, and Helm.
• Experience with containerized applications on Kubernetes and GitLab is a plus.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties is required.
• Ideally, some experience in networking; opportunity to develop in this area.
• Good understanding of functional dependencies in distributed systems.
• Very good German (C1/C2) and good English (B2) skills are necessary for team collaboration.
