Remote Platform Engineer (m/w/d)

Description:

• Join as a Platform Engineer (m/w/d) to support the automation, scaling, and stability of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP).
• Work either in the Erkrath headquarters twice a week or up to 100% remote.
• Responsibilities include automating cloud infrastructure using Terraform and OpenTofu, supporting cloud architecture, implementing governance structures, and participating in on-call duties.

Requirements:

• Strong practical knowledge in Public Cloud (preferably Azure), Terraform, and Helm.
• Experience with containerized applications on Kubernetes and GitLab is advantageous.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties is required.
• Ideally, some experience in networking; opportunity to develop in this area.
• Good understanding of functional dependencies in distributed systems.
• Very good German (C1/C2) and good English (B2) skills are necessary for team collaboration.
