Description:

  • Liatrio is a boutique consulting firm that helps enterprises deliver software faster, safer, and more efficiently.
  • The Principal Application Modernization Architect will be responsible for the strategic technical direction of major engagements and building client relationships as a trusted technical advisor.
  • This role requires extensive experience in positions such as Enterprise Architect, Strategic Architect, or Head of Application Modernization.
  • The architect will lead architectural design, drive technology strategy, and guide clients on best practices in enterprise architecture.
  • Responsibilities include setting and driving technical roadmaps, overseeing multiple workstreams, and ensuring overall technical engagement success.
  • The role involves managing a team of 4-8 members, providing coaching and mentoring, and ensuring team morale and alignment.
  • The architect will also support customer growth and expansion, contribute to Liatrio's intellectual property development, and leverage industry knowledge to create valuable accelerators for future engagements.
  • Significant experience with various tools and technologies is expected, including full stack development, cloud-native architecture, and DevOps practices.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without the need for sponsorship.
  • The role requires approximately 50% onsite client engagement, which may include commuting, majority US travel, and occasional international travel.
  • Extensive experience in technology strategy and delivery excellence is required, including leading architectural design and advising on enterprise architecture.
  • Candidates should have a strong background in modern programming languages, cloud-hosted applications, and enterprise environments.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with C-Level stakeholders and client technical SMEs is essential.
  • Experience in mentoring and coaching team members is necessary to drive best practices and team accountability.

  • The position offers a competitive annual base salary ranging from $210,000 to $240,000, depending on experience.
