Description:

Serve as the technical lead for security engineering at Marqeta, focusing on product security and AI.
Lead product security engineering for the payment platform, build AI security programs, and provide security architecture oversight.

Requirements:

10+ years of security engineering experience with technical leadership across multiple domains.
Deep expertise in product security, threat modeling, secure SDLC practices, and API security.
Experience or strong interest in AI/ML security and understanding of associated risks.
Broad security fluency across infrastructure and enterprise security.
Experience in cloud-native environments (AWS preferred) and familiarity with AI/ML services.
Strong programming skills in at least one language (Python, Java, Go, etc.).
Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to financial services (PCI DSS, SOX, SOC2, NIST CSF).

Base salary range: National: $218,300 - $272,900; Premium: $236,200 - $295,300; Premium Plus: $256,800 - $321,000.
