Description:

ButterflyMX is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to enhance application security throughout the software development lifecycle.
The role involves threat modeling, secure code review, penetration testing, and vulnerability management, reporting directly to the CISO.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in application security with proficiency in secure development practices and offensive testing.
Strong understanding of web application and API security fundamentals, experience with SAST/DAST/SCA tools, and fluency in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
Experience in penetration testing, familiarity with cloud security (AWS preferred), and excellent communication skills.
Relevant certifications (OSCP, GWAPT, etc.) and experience leveraging AI tools for security tasks are a plus.
