Description:

Engineer and secure multi-cloud environments for Chainguard's products.
Collaborate with internal teams to embed security into architecture and tooling.
Design and enforce secure identity and access strategies across cloud environments.
Harden cloud platforms against threats while ensuring resilience and availability.
Lead disaster recovery exercises and build automation using Terraform/IaC and Kubernetes.
Act as a trusted advisor to product engineering, adapting architecture as the company scales.

Requirements:

Strong hands-on experience with GCP or AWS; Azure experience is a plus.
Solid DevOps background with Terraform/IaC, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Proven track record of designing secure and resilient systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfort with ambiguity and experience in fast-moving or late-stage startups is preferred.
