Description:

  • Join Turnitin as a Principal Software Engineer in the Shared Services team to shape core platform capabilities.
  • Lead design and development of backend services, drive architectural decisions, and mentor engineers.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in large-scale backend systems and strong expertise in Java and cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with AWS serverless services, CI/CD tools, and distributed systems.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and a passion for mentoring.
  • Nice to have: Experience with AI/ML, SaaS or EdTech, and modern frontend technologies like React.
