Description:

A Principal Software Engineer for .Net is responsible for developing server applications across various software platforms, including writing Restful APIs for client applications.
The role ensures that the functionality, security, and performance of server applications meet design specifications and are free of bugs.
Principal engineers lead a team of engineers and mentor team members through continuous training and guidance.
Duties include leading a team of software engineers, analyzing business requirements, estimating tasks, writing code and unit tests, and collaborating with team members.
The engineer will tune code for enhanced security and performance, maintain systems by fixing existing issues, and update issue tracking software.
Responsibilities also include providing status updates, communicating with clients, controlling code versions, researching new technologies, and upgrading skills and knowledge.
The engineer will evaluate candidates for open positions.

Requirements:

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field is required.
Candidates must have a minimum of 6-8 years of related experience in the professional industry.
Strong communication skills are essential for this position.
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, tools, and platforms is required.
Knowledge of .Net Core, ASP.Net MVC, and Web API is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with Azure and AWS.
Knowledge and experience in writing backend components and Restful APIs are required.
An understanding of security standards and compliance is necessary.
Experience with various relational and schemaless databases such as Oracle/SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB is required.
Candidates must be able to create database structures for required functionality.
Experience with writing unit tests and ensuring a minimum of 90% test coverage is necessary.
Knowledge of and experience with GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools is required.
An understanding of fundamental concepts and design principles is necessary.
A basic understanding of front-end technologies is preferred.
A flexible attitude and versatile personality are important.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence team members are essential.
