Description:

Olo is a leading SaaS platform focused on digital transformation in the restaurant industry, providing personalized guest experiences.
The Principal Software Engineer will shape the technical vision, mentor engineers, and oversee the design of large-scale systems within the Order Engineering team.
This is a fully remote position based in Northern Ireland, reporting to the VP of Engineering in Belfast.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
15+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in the .Net stack.
Mastery in system architecture for large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and CI/CD practices.
Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence engineering culture.
Strong collaboration skills with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Experience in evaluating and integrating emerging technologies.
