Description:

Define and own the long-term architecture of a server-rendered web component platform for AI-native user experiences.
Own end-to-end experience performance, including server-side rendering and streaming HTML.
Build platform primitives for AI-driven user experiences, addressing UX challenges specific to AI products.
Design secure, scalable runtime on Kubernetes, ensuring multi-tenant isolation and observability.
Shape the developer platform and ecosystem, enabling teams to build applications easily.
Collaborate with ML and platform teams to translate backend capabilities into usable UX patterns.
Align platform architecture with business goals to support customer acquisition and retention.
Write high-performance code across the experience and runtime stacks, debugging complex issues.
Drive cross-functional platform outcomes with various teams.
Mentor engineers and foster a culture of innovation and reliability.
Proactively identify and address platform and experience gaps.

Requirements:

15+ years of software engineering experience in frontend or web platform engineering.
Deep expertise in web platform internals, including Web Components and server-side rendering.
Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills, particularly with Node.js and performance optimization.
Experience running services on Kubernetes, focusing on resource management and observability.
Strong web security fundamentals, including session handling and sandboxing.
Experience shipping intelligent, AI-driven user experiences.
Familiarity with agent orchestration and tool-calling protocols.
Experience designing frameworks or SDKs for team adoption.
Proven ability to connect platform decisions to business outcomes.
Self-driven with strong ownership and execution capabilities.
