Remote QA Engineer - Full Remote or Hybrid (m/f/d)

Description:

• Voyage Privé is seeking a QA Engineer to enhance the quality of their e-commerce platform.
• The role involves implementing automated tests in collaboration with experienced QA testers.
• The position requires working in a modern technological environment, utilizing tools such as Cucumber, Playwright, XRay, GitLab, Gherkin, and AI.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining automated test scripts, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and reducing release validation time.
• The QA Engineer will work with testers to identify and prioritize critical scenarios for automation and support their skill development.
• The role also involves understanding critical workflows, participating in discussions with product and software engineering teams, and documenting test processes in XRay.
• Regular reporting on test coverage and automated execution results is expected.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in test automation, with strong proficiency in the Cucumber/Playwright (TypeScript) stack.
• Proficiency with XRay for managing test assets and campaigns within Jira is required.
• An ISTQB certification (Foundation level or higher) is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitLab, is necessary.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to work within cross-functional teams is essential.
• Excellent analytical and synthesis skills are required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
• Candidates should be able to work independently and take initiative to improve QA processes.
