Remote Security Controls Assessor (SCA) - Senior

Description:

• Seeking a Senior Security Controls Assessor (SCA) to support a federal contract.
• Responsible for independent assessments of complex information systems, applications, and cloud infrastructures.
• Focus on verifying the implementation and effectiveness of security controls.
• Serve as a mentor to junior assessors and advisor during the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent professional experience.
• Security+ certification; higher certifications (CISSP, CAP, CASP) desired.
• 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, or IT auditing.
• 6 years of hands-on experience with complex security controls assessments.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background investigation.
• Strong analytical, technical writing, and interpersonal skills.
