Remote Security Operations Engineer

Description:

• Join Supabase as a Security Operations Engineer in the Product Security team to provide front-line coverage for security alerts and customer security tickets.
• Work in a follow-the-sun rotation across New Zealand/Australia, Sri Lanka, and US Eastern to maintain 24-hour security coverage.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, junior SOC analysis, or similar triage-heavy environments.
• Foundational understanding of security concepts (MFA, JWTs, identity verification) and IT systems (SSO, Google Workspace, Okta).
• Comfortable with terminal commands, basic SQL, and summarizing complex issues clearly.
• Strong customer-facing judgment and ability to handle sensitive issues calmly.
