Remote Senior AWS Data Engineer & Lead AWS Data Engineer (Individual contributor)

Description:

• Seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise data pipelines and products using AWS, Databricks, and Medallion Architecture.
• Ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Databricks and AWS, and be hands-on across the full data engineering lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on Data Engineering experience.
• Expert-level experience with Databricks and Databricks Unity Catalog.
• Experience designing Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) data pipelines.
• Advanced skills in Python/PySpark and SQL.
• Strong experience with AWS, particularly S3 and AWS Glue.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks Asset Bundles (DABs).
• Strong Git experience with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.
• Experience implementing CI/CD for data engineering and Databricks workloads.
• Strong understanding of data engineering best practices, data modeling, and pipeline optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
