Description:
Version 1 is seeking a Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer to support a range of enterprise scale customers and projects.
The role involves implementing DevOps processes and tooling for the delivery of IaaS and PaaS services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in the public cloud.
Responsibilities include automating the configuration and management of cloud workloads in Azure.
The engineer will build toolchains to support automated builds, tests, and deployments of applications to public cloud platforms.
The position requires contributing to technical decisions in a collaborative team environment.
Requirements:
A self-driven approach at work with intrinsic motivation to excel and take ownership of tasks and projects is essential.
Strong demonstrable experience with Azure DevOps (or equivalent CI/CD tooling), scripting languages, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, and PowerShell DSC is required.
Experience in building and configuring cloud services using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform is necessary.
Good knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud adoption framework for Azure is expected.
Candidates should hold one or more of the following Azure certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.
Experience in implementing modern CI/CD processes for releasing software is required.
Candidates should have experience in implementing and advocating for DevOps methodologies and processes.
Broad experience in building and configuring Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including App Service, VNETs, NSGs, SQL databases, Service Bus, Function Apps, Key Vault, and Logic Apps is necessary.
Experience with Git is also required.
