Description:

  • Join ClickUp as a Senior Backend Engineer in the Fields squad, focusing on custom task data and dynamic schemas.
  • Build scalable, high-throughput, low-latency services that handle millions of requests daily.
  • Own end-to-end development from conception to production and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering performant systems, ideally with Node.js.
  • Proficient in writing high-quality code, preferably in TypeScript.
  • Experience with SQL queries at scale and developing event-based systems.
  • Familiarity with major cloud services, ideally AWS.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with ambiguity.
  • Product-minded with a good intuition for user experience.
