Remote Senior Backend / Infrastructure Engineer (m/w/d) für das INSPO Team // Remote möglich

Description:

• Design, plan, and develop complex backend services and cloud infrastructure for a mobile platform focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Take ownership of services and infrastructure, drive technical decisions, and define quality and performance standards.
• Collaborate with other developers throughout the development process from architecture to deployment on Kubernetes/AWS.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot, implement CI/CD pipelines, and automate infrastructure processes with Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Work closely with mobile developers, product owners, and UX/UI designers to create outstanding app experiences.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in backend development with Spring Boot and solid knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
• Proficient in Kubernetes, AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda), and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Deep understanding of microservice architectures, API design, and cloud-native patterns.
• Experience in developing data-driven applications and ideally in data modeling and scalable database design.
• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities, with a willingness to mentor team members.
• Proactive in taking responsibility for projects with an open mindset towards mobile app development.
• Interdisciplinary interests and experience working with various departments, including data scientists.
• Familiar with agile development methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and ideally have corporate and start-up experience.
• Good command of German and English.
