Join WPT Global as a Senior Data Applications Engineer in a senior data team.
Build data models, pipelines, and applications for product, marketing analytics, fraud detection, and operational tools.
Focus on AI-first development, ensuring safe and reliable AI-assisted coding in production.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in building production software (backend and frontend).
Strong AI-first development experience with tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
Deep Python backend experience, including APIs, authentication, and testing.
Proficient in TypeScript / React, SQL, and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with data engineering, warehouses, pipelines, and dbt.
Familiarity with containers, CI/CD, and cloud deployment (AWS preferred).
Strong technical judgment and ability to propose better design solutions.
