Remote Senior Data Engineer

Description:

• Key role in building and scaling data infrastructure for an AI-driven platform.
• Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Focus on enabling rapid scale and ensuring data reliability, observability, and reusability across the organization.
• Contribute to the evolution of the data platform and Data Lake architecture.
• Act as a technical partner to establish data best practices and improve operational reliability.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in building and operating scalable data pipelines in production.
• Hands-on experience with Data Lakes or Data Warehouses (e.g., AWS Athena).
• Proficient in data transformation, modeling, and AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools for cloud management.
• Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with distributed systems and large-scale data workflows.
• Knowledge of monitoring, observability, and incident response practices.
• Nice to have: experience with web scraping or systems with increasing traffic.
