Work as a senior engineer at the intersection of backend systems, data pipelines, and AI workflows, with broad ownership of system design and implementation.

Requirements:

Proven experience in owning and operating data-heavy systems in production.
Strong experience with data pipelines (ETL/ELT, event-driven, or workflow-based).
Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with other typed languages is a plus.
Generalist mindset with strong data modeling and system design instincts.
Ability to progress from zero to one to scale with minimal guidance.
Experience in fintech, tax, or regulated environments is a strong plus.
Familiarity with security and compliance considerations is a strong plus.
Actively use AI tools as a core part of your development workflow.

Remote-first role with optional in-person collaboration in New York and Chicago.
