Description:

Provide expertise on data engineering methods and best practices, focusing on code-first development and modern pipeline design.
Design, implement, and maintain data architecture and ELT/ETL pipelines in Azure Synapse and Azure Machine Learning.
Migrate source data to Azure Data Lake Storage and normalize entity attributes.
Review and improve existing architecture, establish quality controls, and optimize data processing.
Develop self-service capabilities for data querying and export, and document data architecture thoroughly.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in data engineering, computer science, or related field, or 5 years of relevant experience.
5 years of experience with SQL databases and advanced SQL operations.
5 years of experience in designing and maintaining ELT/ETL processes in cloud environments.
3 years of experience with Azure Synapse and Azure Machine Learning; certifications preferred (DP-203).
3 years of experience manipulating data in Python, with knowledge of Pandas, PySpark, or Polars.
