Remote Senior Data Engineer | Remote | C2H

Description:

• The position is for a Senior Data Engineer, which is a remote role.
• The duration of the employment is Contract to Hire (C2H).
• The salary offered is between 1-2 Lakhs per month.
• The candidate will be responsible for architecting and building large-scale data platforms, including data lakes and data marts.
• The role requires proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong background in database design and development.
• The candidate must have proficiency in SQL, data modeling tools, and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Looker, Power BI, or similar is required.
• Familiarity with Google BigQuery or equivalent is necessary.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is expected.
• The candidate should have experience using big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels are essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and streaming data processing frameworks like Kafka, Spark, or Flink is a plus.
• Knowledge of Postgres is also considered a plus.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• The candidate must have at least 6 years of experience architecting and building large-scale data platforms.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role is necessary, with a strong background in database design and development.
