Description:

  • Senior Data Platform Engineer responsible for the reliability, automation, and operability of the database and datastore fleet.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and product engineering teams to build self-service, automated foundations for datastores.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in managing and scaling relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora).
  • Experience with non-relational paradigms (e.g., NoSQL, document, key-value).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS RDS, Google BigQuery).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go) and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
