Description:
- Senior Data Scientist position focused on AI Retrieval Systems for rare disease research at NIH.
- Responsible for building retrieval and knowledge layers for AI systems, including data modeling, semantic search, and user interfaces.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production software or data systems, with at least 2 years in LLM-powered applications.
- Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and experience with retrieval systems and evaluation metrics.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security clearance.
