Description:
- Seeking a Senior Database Engineer with expertise in PostgreSQL and AWS Aurora to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of database platforms.
- Role involves strategic project delivery and hands-on operational support in a fast-paced production environment.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in production database engineering/administration with strong PostgreSQL skills.
- Proficient in AWS database services, particularly Aurora PostgreSQL/RDS, and experience with connection pooling/management.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Strong scripting skills (Python or similar) and Linux fundamentals relevant to database operations.
- Excellent written communication skills and ability to collaborate across time zones.
